Advanced Calendar Sets
I really like the ability to have calendar sets with 0-9 keys but I think this could be reworked into a more advanced custom filters ability including tags (a little like todoist)
A filter could be as simple as a specific calendar to keep it as it is, but also incorporate tags (which seem quite useless as is).
These custom filters could then still use the 0-9 to not lose current functionality.
This would then even allow for less calendars to be used (so a filter to show ONLY appointments across all calendars) or a filter to show appointments across calendars tagged as travel.
I dont think it has to be advanced as todoists filters to begin with - but having the ability to incorporate tags into these filtered views will make Morgen far more useful I think.

Love this idea. This would allow me to tag events that I need to be aware of (and can't delete from my calendar for that reason) but am not attending. I could then hide those when I'm scheduling tasks. Right now, those events take up a lot of real estate on my calendar making it less user friendly to read and interact with my actual events/tasks.

Kat: Yeah I was doing something very similar to be honest! With me I decided that I had made my calendar way too colourful and the tags and event colours don't actually show me the information I want at a glance so I've really simplified it and find it so much more useful.
I now use calendar colours & names for event types but tags to colourise the body of my events by importance. Grey is scheduled (Which is the majority of my work timeblocked events so they don't stand out. Appointments red so they really stand out. Highlights are yellow (for things that aren't really time sensitive but I need to know about or make a choice for) then the smaller accent calendar colour to the left helps me to more easily just identify the calendar I using if I need to (Which is actually far less important, so the accent makes more sense to me here)
The other benefit the is that appointments I block out almost act like an inbox as I drop them down as they will take on the much brighter hues from the calendar colours and I can quickly tag them with the 3 I use to know they have been checked and in my system.
The downside I noticed though is that it's not quite as easy to filter as I would like because I only really use two filter sets most days. 0 All events and 1 being time sensitive appointments. I can't use these tags to filter using the sets unfortunately so this would be a massive improvement to me.

Thanks for this Jonny. We are thinking more and more about the roll of tags, both for tasks and calendar events/scheduled task. Some really neat ideas in here.

Hide Events on Calendar
TL;DR: A way to hide events on a shared calendar that are not relevant to you.
I wish there was a way to hide a single event such that it doesn't show up on my calendar or mess up my time blocking. This should be without having to hide the whole calendar or delete the event.

Task sets (like calendar sets)
I'm really happy to see that in the latest version my Tasks are visible in the calendar view based on their due dates (thank you!)! However, I would love to also have the control of showing/hiding these events like I would any other calendar? I attach a screenshot to show what I mean. We can see the Tasks (coming from my Google Tasks) at the top of the calendar view (#1 in screenshot). If I click on the calendar button (#2), I can select numbers (#3) that correspond to which events are shown/hidden depending on their calendar. It would be great if the Tasks make an appearance in this list of "calendars" so that we can similarly associate them with numbers. This is because sometimes I might have personal vs work Tasks, so I might like to hide or show one or the other (or both). Apologies if this is already an option, but I couldn't find it in the settings anywhere. Thank you!
