All other things being equal, a high priority task should be scheduled before a lower priority task. Right now the AI Planner appears to ignore priority, and use other criteria to choose tasks. (Reproduction & screenshot attached).
Reproduction:
Create several high priority tasks of 15, 30, 60 minutes in length.
Create several medium and low priority tasks of 15, 30, 60 minutes in length.
Use the AI Planner to schedule your tasks.
Expected result:
The planner should schedule high priority tasks first, then lower priority tasks.
Actual result:
The planner seems to schedule tasks without any regard for priority. Tasks are, as far as I can determine, scheduled randomly. See attached screenshot.
Workaround / impact:
No workaround. This make the AI Planner effectively USELESS.
If I rely on the AI Planner, it will schedule unimportant tasks first. It may or may not schedule HIGH and HIGHEST priority tasks at all. This means important things don't get done, and means I end up looking like a flake.
