When switching on the focus mode it just shows you the next upcoming task. You can start the time tracking from there. When you complete the task it automatically brings up the next one.
Having the time tracking is a great reminder to stay focussed on the task.

Not interested in time tracking and pomodoro, but would love to see some habbit tracking solution built-in.

I often have tasks that need more than one focus session to complete. Would be great to see a tally of how much time I've scheduled for a task. Imagining it as a number next to the little icon that shows if a task is scheduled.

I trialed Sunsama before finding Morgen. I feel like Morgen is more what I’m looking for, but is missing the time tracking. I love that I can set an anticipated amount of time for a task, but I must be able to track that time to see how I did… I could do away with every other feature on the roadmap except this one.

To add to this: the only feature I find lacking in Morgen is focus time/ pomodoro style timer. Ticktick allows you to click on any task or event and "start a focus" session. The analytics section is also really nice. Since I've switched from ticktick to morgen fully I am currently using my wrist watch for pomodoro timers, but the lack of analytics is annoying. Also, being able to see the timer on the screen was a good motivator.
If this was implemented in Morgen I'd like to see:
An easy way to start a focus session from any task. And, be able to choose any task/event from the focus timer.
See how long I focused on each event. Say for example, I made a task 2 hours on my calendar. It'd be interesting to see how long I actually took to complete the task.
An analytics dashboard where I can see the total time spent focusing for any given period (Day, week, month, year etc.).

I really liked the "Focus Mode" in Sunsama.
