Bring back local CalDAV to Morgen v4

I am very sad that local CalDAV will no longer be supported in v4. That was one of the main reasons I switched over to Morgen from reclaim.ai.

Hi everyone. Could you please share more info about your setup? For example:

    • Does your CalDAV server run on the same computer where Morgen is running, or somewhere else?

    • Have you considered exposing the server to a public IP such that Morgen servers can connect to it

Hello Marco Ancona (Morgen co-founder), thank you for your reply!

      In my case:

      • My CalDAV server runs on a self-hosted home server running NextCloud, which I connect via Tailscale (https://tailscale.com).

      • I have considered exposing some of my self-hosted apps to a public-facing IP in the past, but I am hesitant to do it as it would increase the surface of attack and security risk for my personal server.

Note: I am aware some Morgen v3 features do not work with this kind of setup (e.g. Morgen workflows), but I am ok without those, I mostly use the local AI planner and manual drag-and-drop features.

In my case I have a Radicale CalDAV server running on our local network.

the calendars are accessable through an URL. (Subdomain pointing to the server through reverse proxy (calendar.example.com/[calendar-url] )).

We install the DAVx android app on our Android devices so these calendars are available there in Morgen.
