Creating task as default
Currently, it always starts with Event, and then Task.
I wish to have it other way around. I wish to select something in my calendar and default I want it to start with Task.
Same for command palette, it always gives Event as the first option, I wish changing Task as default operation, should also effect the list in command palette.

Need this for sure. The ability to set a task as default also gives flexibility for those people to collect the quick brain dump first and then allocate time to the calendar.

Yes please! This should be so easy to implement, it shouldn't even need too many upvotes to get prioritized. I can't imagine that the code is so tightly coupled that this change would need more than 30 minutes of work.

Yes please! While you’re at it, please also add a shortcut from the command palette to create a task, e.g. T for create task.

There is the shortcut n t for creating a task.
You should see a tool tip if you hover over the plus button in the left sidebar.

That shortcut bring up a different dialog that doesn’t have natural language input. I’m talking about the “create task” dialog in the command prompt, which does have natural language:
The true way to fix this is to universalize natural language input to both dialogs.

I assume when you use the global shortcut or shortcut for when you are in Morgen you want to further specificy a task.
If you add information that an event doesn’t have such as a task list or importance Morgen will default to a task.
Are there some cases where you don’t add task specific information?

Oftentimes I want to throw tasks into my Inbox to plan further later, so won’t add the other task-specific info.
I’m really impressed with how well Morgen’s natural language task/event input competes with Todoist’s, I just wish it would be used more throughout the app.

Hi! Just started using your app today and it feels like I finally found an app that has the exact set of tools that I want. However, this was the first issue that I ran into and started googling. Because it’s event by default, I started using side bar, but natural language doesn’t work, so it just feels a bit clunky on that part.
