Monthly display cells have different height

WHY ?

from my perspective not at all a convenient thing since as you can see from the picture the smallest week is just the current one

it would be much more convenient to favor first glance to have all the cells the same size

(same thing in the weekly view)

    the smallest week is just the current one

    That's not right, isn't it? Could it be that the week height is related to the largest number of events in a day of that week? I see 3 different heights:

    • W5 = W7 -- max 1 event per day

    • W6 = W8 = W9 -- max 2 events per day

    • W10 -- max 3 events per day

    In fact, I'd argue that it's quite convenient, as if a week is more packed with action than other weeks, precious empty space in an equal-height month view would be used to show more activity in said packed week.

    (same thing in the weekly view)

    You can toggle that via the Widen current day option, found in the options below the Calendar View selector, in the toolbar up above.
