Dim past events (make it dimmer)

Ideally I think a slider or some option to change the opacity would be best, but at present I don't think the dimming is anywhere near obvious enough.

If I look at a busy month view it's actually hard to see quickly where abouts in time I am at. I think to make this feature useful it should be a lot more obvious.
