Eisenhower Matrix / Box

I would like to suggest adding a customisable Eisenhower box feature to Morgen. Currently, it's challenging to discern which tasks (and events?) are priorities just by looking at the calendar. Implementing the Eisenhower box as an alternative window would greatly enhance the usability and efficiency of task management within the app.

    The Morgen Priority factors uses:

    -‍ Importance: How critical is this task to your long-term goals? What is the impact of not completing this task?‍

    • Due date: How soon must this task be completed? Is there a date after which there’s no point in doing it?‍

    • Duration: How much time will this task take? ‍

    • Capacity: How much time is available to spend on this task today and in the coming days?

    -‍ Activity: When was the task created or last updated?

    I sort my tasks using this.

      Hi Danny,

      Thanks for the reply and for laying out the Morgen Priority factors so clearly. I appreciate the thinking behind your approach.

      For my own workflow, I’m using Morgen a little differently. I run four separate calendars (Life, Admin, Creative, and Work) with iCloud handling my personal calendars and Google managing everything for the day job (Work). That separation is essential for me because of how varied my responsibilities are.

      Inside Morgen, I rely heavily on colour-coding, icons, and a fixed lane structure. Tasks get used for the more specific sub-lanes (planning, research, execution, people, etc.).

      This gives me a clean visual system I can navigate quickly without losing context, and it plays well with my ADD - everything is visible, structured, and predictable.

      The Eisenhower Matrix request came from wanting a dedicated space to scan workload at a glance, using the same visual simplicity. Your priority system is solid, but a matrix view would add a useful complementary lens.

    Support for defining urgent / important properties when using an integration such as Notion would be an important compliment to this.
