Hyperlink in task description

Need the ability to add links to webpages instead of adding full URLs inside the task description. It is better for visibility.

    also render markdown links as hyperlinks. currently they are rendered as plain text.

    e.g. -

    Are you asking for shorter links to webpages?

    Event and task descriptions are text fields.

      Not OP, but I voted for this because I want hyperlinks in task descriptions. Right now AFAIK you have to paste the entire url. Would be nice to have a single word or phrase you can click to take you to a url (a hyperlink) instead of a (sometimes) bulky fully written out url.
