More flexible alerts setup
Often times I want to have an alert at a specific time the previous day, or e.g. a few days before an event (in case I need to make a booking before the agreed meeting).
As I only could provide an exact numerical value for minutes/hours, when setting an alert up, I have to calculate hours manually and use something like "18h before", instead of a more reasonable "at 11:00 a day before".
UX isn't great at its least.

I might be misunderstanding but event reminders for calendar events are available in minutes, hours, or days before.
When you say alerts are you talking about event reminders?

They are available in h/m/d before, but setting a reminder like "at 11:00 2 days before the event" isn't supported natively, as I have to calculate an integral hours value on my own.

The same is applicable for the mobile apps, but it's not possible to adjust alerts there at all at the current moment.
