Morgen as a calendar provider (local calendar)

No external calendar account is required. And maybe Morgen provides a CalDav-based calendar that can be used elsewhere.

Other related terms: "native calendar", "local/native calendar"

I’ve switched to proton and this would be invaluable!

This would be incredible! There are many tasks that I would like to keep scheduled in Morgen and not on GCal.

    Oh this would be nice.

Out of every calendar app I used, this one was the best but the only thing it lacks is its own local calendar.

I am currently using a caldav provider just to use morgen lol.

I second this, you would really rival Fantastical and be able to have better functionality within the MacOS. It would enable us to just have one calendar app instead of multiple!

This would be my preference as well. I do not have the desire to get (or learn) another calendar app just so I can sign up & use Morgen (even if I think Morgen seems to be a great app). If this feature became a reality I would not be on fence. As things stand its a debate I am constantly debating

Related request: (Frikster) It would be great if Morgen could be a Calendar Provider in addition to integrating with other Calendars.

What this might look like is under accounts when you add and "Choose a Calendar Provider" Morgen itself could be an option that is linked to your login email.
