I'd love to be able to create a task in Morgen directly that would be added in the Notion database (instead of always having to do it on Notion, then going to Morgen, refreshing the sync, and then scheduling it)

As a heavy Notion (and hopefully, soon Notion<->Morgen integration) user, a few improvements I'd gladly see (concerning not just tasks):

    • Allow linking a Notion page / database item (or a Google Doc document) to an event for meeting notes. Bonus points for support for choosing a template for the note.

    • Support Notion databases as calendars.

    • Support sub tasks (technically - a relation property pointing at the parent task).

    • Allow creating, editing and deleting task directly from Morgen.

    • Allow setting the time unit (hours / minutes) for estimates.

    • Support importing additional properties and grouping / sorting / filtering by those properties (for example I use relation properties for "projects" and "tags", and it'd make the integration immensely more useful having access to them).

Michael - Not sure you are aware, but currently, a couple of the items you have mentioned are currently in place…

      • sub-tasks - I can see a link to the parent task in sub-tasks that are showing in Morgen.

      • time unit - if you create a number field, you can set that as the ETA field in preferences (when setting up the DB integration), and Morgen will translate those numbers (.25, 1, 3.5, etc.) to hourly equivalents.

Michael - first, let me compliment you on your fine name ;-)

Regarding the points you've called out -

      • Regarding time units - I understand this, everything is setup and works as you've mentioned. I just prefer to have an option to enter 60 in the notion estimate property and have morgen translating it to an hour, instead of entering 0.5 and having morgen translating to 30 mins.

      • As to sub-tasks - My task show without a link to their parent task. After reading more closely the integration setup page, I suspect this is because my tasks DB is way larger that 100 tasks which causes morgen not to sync the parent / sub task relation property… (it did manage to sync and group by the project relation property at some point - but did not sync the "Tags" relation property, which again points to a quite massive database of tags).

Michael Being able to input the time in minutes would make life so much easier. It would be really cool to have that feature!

    Add labels to calendar.

When I add a task to the Calendar the labels visible in the Task view on the left aren't showing in the calendar. They should be included in calendar view.

Can we please have it to work in the same way as Notion calendar please, so when you drag a task across to the calendar it changes the working on date or whatever date you have set as your due date.

Enhanced Notion task filter. Currently the only option is to filter out tasks not assigned to myself. For example, optionally filtering out future tasks if I want to focus on scheduling tasks that are due today or overdue. Or option to filter out tasks assigned to certain projects that I am currently not actively working on.

Dietmar: Do you expect setting that up already during the configuration step?

Çağrı, Well there are currently two places where you can filter but both have limitations. You can filter at the configuration step (but the only available filter is tasks assigned to myself). You can also filter within Morgen by the field 'Group by'. So for example I could use 'Project' in the 'Group by' field and then only select tasks where project is 'No Project' and tasks assigned to a project that I am actively working on. However, the limitation with that is that 'Project' is then not only used to filter but it is also used to group tasks. I would then not be able to use my preferred grouping of 'Priority'. I have a workable work-around in the current version of Notion: put my name as assignee in Notion tasks that I want to schedule in Morgen. And I don't assign myself to tasks that are assigned to future projects that are not active yet. Then I filter by 'Tasks assigned to me' in the configuration screen. In terms of enhancing filtering options: Probably the configuration screen is the better place but it could also be done on the screen where you have the Group by/Order by.

I would like to be able to embed my Morgen calendar in Notion pages so I can see and work with everything from a single location.

Allow filtering or grouping Notion tasks by rolled up properties. I have tasks connected to projects. Tasks have a rolled up field which is called Project Priority. I would like to only show tasks for which the rolled up Project Priority is a certain value or higher.

Another feature that would be nice to have - is opening notion links in the desktop app instead of in the browser.

First of all, just recently found out about Morgen and love it! Finally some Notion Implementation in a proper state, which is usable.

For my Workflow I would love as Ryan mentioned to create Tasks directly in Morgen and edit properties in there. In my case I like to Timeblock for creating tasks and want to assign them a project (relation to another database) without going into Notion.

In addition be able to change the state of a task would be much versatile than just "done". I like to see let`s say "ToDo","InProgress", "Done" and "Failed".

That would be my Dream Workflow - still be able to work around it.
