Obsidian Task Import: Notes as parent tasks (Bases)
Certain notes should appear as parent tasks to the tasks contained within them.
The note properties should inform the labels shown on the task in the task pane, and certain properties have special meaning e.g. due_date, status: 'DONE' | 'IN_PROGRESS' | 'TODO' (mirroring Tasks plugin custom statuses).
Morgen Tasks plugin could support some aspects of this.

Danny Hatcher (Customer Support) Any updates on this? Would be very helpful to use properties in obsidian for task details in morgen, say if you are an assignment at university which is high priority and has a due date.

Thomas This was released in V4. You can enable this in the Morgen settings so that when an Obsidian file has the appropriate properties they will be imported as a task.
Task blocks in that file will also be imported as subtasks.

Great idea. If the tasks show in Morgen in hierarchical or roll up that would allow a chunk of tasks, or subtask to go on a calendar. Anything that mirrors how tasks can be represented in Obsidian is good when it aligns with Markdown Tasks.
