As can be seen in this photo attached, the list of categories can be applied any object, Contacts, Emails, Tasks, and Calandar events. This allows for better filtering views.
This feature found in Outlook would be greatly helpful in Morgen

I am not sure what you are referring to.
Events from Outlook appear on the calendar.
Tasks from Outlook appear in the task sidebar unless you have scheduled a time slot on the calendar.
Are you referring to the "view" settings in the Outlook Email integration?
