For Outlook emails that I flagged and imported to Morgen, the date does not sync back. It also does not show up with the date that I planned in Morgen then…
To clarify, when you schedule an Outlook email imported to Morgen on your Outlook calendar, it doesn’t appear in Outlook. Is that correct?

not sure, if I import a flagged email that I flagged for follow up let’s say on April 2, then I plan it in Morgen on April 10 this date (April 10) does not show up in the left sidebar under the proper date since the date there is still April 2

I see. Morgen has 2 different dates.
Planned dates are the scheduled times on the calendar. A task could have multiple planned dates. These are NOT synced with external tools as most don’t allow multiple dates.
Due dates are like deadlines. A task can have 1 due date. This is synced to external tools which is likely what you are seeing.
The email will sync the due date to the external tool, in this case MS Todo, but not the planned dates. They will be shown as events on the source calendar you have stored them on, and in Morgen, but not as a ‘due date’ for the task.
Does that make sense?

it makes partially sense yes. but e.g. in the attached screenshot (flagged emails in outlook), I scheduled them, why don’t they show up in the categories “overdue”, “today”, “tomorrow” etc? this would be the only and main thing I need :)

Because the due sections (Overdue, due today, due tomorrow, due soon) are for the due date, not planned dates.

ok thanks for your reply. and it is not possible to change it to planned dates then? because Outlook tasks in Morgen dont really have a due date, meaning these categories “overdue”, “today”, “tomorrow” etc. are always gonna be empty

Not at the moment as Morgen can have multiple schedule dates whereas other tools can only have 1 creating various technical issues.
This is why we sync the Morgen due date, with external tool dates.
