In my example I need to activate manual ordering to be able to move a task to be a subtask. I think it should be possible to do so without setting it to manual ordering.
Danny Hatcher (Customer Support) You can actually! But that requires other subtasks first. As of right now you can then just drag in a main task in between a main task and a subtask.
So I guess this FR is basically a mix out of both requests?

I might be misunderstanding but you can't create a sub-task by dragging a task.
There is a feature request for this: https://morgen.canny.io/feature-requests/p/create-a-sub-task-by-dragging-a-task-onto-another-task
