It would be a small QOL improvement to be able to set the time slot a task takes by default when dragged from the all day tasks section. Currently this is 1 hour fixed.
Currently the default time slot is the time resolution in your settings.
For a larger estimate, you can add a duration in the task estimate option.

Thanks Abdullah. In the way you're thinking about this, would you want to have a default duration you can set for all tasks? Or would this be information that you are creating at a task level?

Brenna Donoghue: I would suppose a default global duration would be helpful, something a lot more fine may just be adding complexity. I say this because I feel having a shorter time and extending it to fix a slot is easier than having a larger one by default and shortening it.
Needless to say, this is probably this is a very small QOL improvement.
