Unschedule for recurring tasks

If I unschedule a one-off task from the calendar, it goes back to the Inbox, giving me an opportunity to either reschedule it to another day/time later or complete it anytime. However, if I unschedule a recurring task, it disappears completely.

I understand, that it disappears as by default scheduled tasks are not shown in the Inbox, but this means that I'll easily lose a current instance of a recurring task, which is undesired.
