Unschedule with drag and drop

I will close this request, because unscheduling with drag and drop is tricky for the reasons discussed in the AMA, in particular the conflict with the drag and drop across weeks.

In the next release, however, we'll add a label next to the trash icon to clarify what the action is about (deleting vs unscheduling)

Not sure if I should make a separate request for this and I haven't watched the ama (it's 11pm so I will watch another time) and Marco addressed this request with the right-click option but it's still marked under review?

Anyway, can a task's list update if you drag a scheduled task from calendar to a different list in sidebar. and I guess with this in mind, could all the task lists be able to be instantly collapsible with that as option in the 3 dots next to "Tasks" sidebar title to easily drag & drop?

On related note, I've submitted a different feature request that also involved drag & drop feature for updating. So could the Morgen be universally be drag & droppable where possible & applicable. Like rather than require 4 or 5 clicks to change an associated calendar for a scheduled event, Can it be possible to drag&drop to a different calendar? drag&drop tasks to a different priority level? shift+click to select multiple tasks/events and drag&drop to different lists/calendars?

Quick update on this: while the possibility of dragging the task back to the sidebar is still under consideration (because of the UX issues mentioned in the AMA), the next update will improve how a task can be unscheduled with right click. We changed the label from “Delete” to “Unschedule” and added an option to do both at the same time.

Unschedule tasks can be achieved by deleting the slot on the calendar. It seems to me that dragging the task on the sidebar would require more time/precision than Click and Delete, or Right-click + Delete 🤔
