What happened to the gradient effect on duplicate events?

Morgen used to do this cool gradient effect when there were same items across different calendars. I wrote about this on social being one of my fave tiny things that morgen does, but today I notice it's not doing it anymore. Has something changed? Is this a permanent change? I'm so sad if it is!
