Open global command bar pop up instead of app
When I use the global command bar, I am brough into the app of Morgen which is very jarring. It would be great if there instead was just a small pop up that popped up on the screen in whatever app you are using. This would make the experience a lot better.

I agree! The Routine app does this really well, with useful information around it to help you create events/tasks without switching windows.

I am curious what experience of the command bar you don't like?
For me the hotkey, type, click experience is fast.

Danny Hatcher (Customer Support) For me, it is the being brought into Morgen part I don´t find as useful, as I then have to click back (or cmd/ctrl tab or alt C) to the app I was in originally after adding a task. Would like a floating bar like in Todoist (image), that disappears after pressing enter. Support for natural language in multiple languages (norwegian here) would also be very useful.

Thomas: Yes agreed. The additional exit click or hotkey can be irritating.
Thanks for clarifying.

Yes, you have right. Would be good to add something like a blur or darken the rest of the screen or a mosaic or something similar, to make it easier to focus on writing down the task, instead of opening the whole app.

Not to mention if it's on another desktop, you switch to that desktop.

Possibility to quick add tasks and add them to projects via hashtag
It would be easier than navigating the menus to add items individually. Todoist uses a quick add language. It would be great if you could implement that along with a quick add feature.

Are you referring to the Morgen command bar or for text when writing tasks out in the list dropdown?

command bar, command+k, add task “this is the task in #project1” rather then going through the dropdowns to add them.

I am not sure what you mean ‘rather than going through the dropdowns to add them’.
When you start typing out the name of the task tag it will selec the most likely and pressing enter adds the tag.
For me I would write ‘new task #pe’ and at that point push enter to add ther ‘personal’ tag to the task.
Does this not work for you?

This is an example on how Todoist does it. Rather then going through dropdowns, you can add your project right away when you create the task. Either to an existing one or to a new one that gets created.

Of course it shows you all the options and autocompletes them

I am not sure what you are looking for. The highlighted tag or task list to remain in text field after it has been added?
Pushing # or > opens the dropdown, typing reduces the list, pushing enter adds the tag or list. You can arrow key if want to navigate the list.
Attached is the experience I see. Tag list, searching tag or task list, after adding a tag.
Unless I am misunderstanding you want the text to remain in the text input rather than going below. Is that right?

I'm really sorry for being so confusing. I just tested it, and you're right, it works with the >, which is actually better than #.
The only thing I'm missing is the ability to add tasks from anywhere without having the Morgen app in focus. For Todoist, there's a little helper application in the menu bar. I can configure it so that with the shortcut Command + Option + T, it opens the small window I shared with you.
This lets me add a task whenever something pops into my ADHD brain, which is super helpful. Please consider it ;)
I actually bought a yearly plan just now because this was someting that is really needed for me.
Please also consider to make it configurable, that the current day is the day that is on the very left in the calendar view. I think most legacy calendar applications are still using either SO or MO as the first day in the week view, but who cares what happened on a Monday when it is WED?
